Every sale made helps support local farmers here in Northern Michigan.
It all started in my childhood. I think I've tried every needle art there is to try. I am a "maker" of many things. Knitting, sewing and spinning keep me grounded. I'm enjoying getting back into weaving with my hand spun yarn as well as up-cycling discarded clothing into new, usable pieces.
I like to promote and embrace living in Northern Michigan and all it has to offer. I have a small hobby farm that supports my obsession with the fiber arts. The area offers many diverse, small farms that are evolving and becoming a way of life. The farmers need a way to market their sustainable fiber to the consumer and have sought me out to help them with that task. My mission is to do that in an effective, efficient manner. Showing people the wonders of the animals, the quality and usability of the fiber in home decor/garments and supporting farmers and their commitment in the care and selection of their critters is important to me. Thank you for stopping by.
